We are a global leader in data science and AI consulting. In the USA, we primarily work in the life sciences, energy, consumer goods and engineering sectors, adding value and providing insight to scientists and engineers in organisations at the forefront of these industries.
We are based in 3 offices that are strategically located to serve our clients in the USA:
We are a small, friendly, international team with varied academic backgrounds, from biology to physics to aerospace. We work together to solve complex, real-world problems for our clients.
I feel my background and my own experience in the lab give me a better understanding of the needs of the scientists, and I love the idea that I am contributing to making cutting-edge science possible!

In the USA, we recruit science, engineering and math graduates and postgraduates throughout the year to join our teams working in data science, AI and scientific software solutions.
We regularly have vacancies for more experienced technical professionals.
Training and development are key to our success.
In the USA, all technical staff receive an annual training allowance of 20 days. You will have an individual training plan to learn new technical and soft skills, often leading to professional qualifications.
Training can take many different forms including taught courses, self study, mentoring, conferences and workshops.
Cortex is an initiative dedicated to the acceleration of AI capabilities and enables individuals to expand their knowledge base and improve their skills in the field.
Staff can apply to take time away from project work and build skills and practical experience in cutting-edge machine learning methods and technologies.
You will be encouraged and supported to tread your own career path based on your aspirations and shaped by the skills you develop and the projects you work on.
We offer excellent future prospects, whether your path is weighted towards technical, project management, consultancy or something else. You are sure to find a rewarding career to match your ambitions.
The training budget, combined with our collaborative culture, has allowed me to deeply broaden my data science expertise.

We are proud to reward staff and look after their wellbeing with a competitive remuneration and benefits package.
Mental health is as important to us as physical health. We support every employee and offer a range of resources to help.
All staff receive a competitive remuneration package that includes core benefits like vacation days, pension contributions, parental leave pay, life assurance, etc.
In addition to our core benefits, staff can choose from a range of flexible benefits to fit their needs, such as buying additional vacation, dental and vision insurance, private healthcare, and more.
Before starting, I was impressed by the straightforward and honest recruitment process and that honesty applies to all parts of the business.

We believe that making a profit and growing our business goes hand in hand with responsibilities to our local communities, the environment, our employees and our clients. We engage in activities outside of work to bring staff together.
We hold an annual, carbon-neutral conference where staff from all geographies get together for a week of knowledge sharing, training and social events.
In the USA, we also organise an annual two-day training and social event for all staff and +1s to attend, all paid for by the company.
Every office has its own company-subsidized, staff-led sports and social committee. Events are organised throughout the year, catering to all tastes from theatre trips to photography competitions.
We support and encourage all of our staff to engage with their local communities. All offices hold community days where we help give something back.
We also offer financial donations to staff involved in charitable events.
Currently we are unable to employ candidates who require sponsorship to work in the USA. However, we very much welcome international applicants who have or can obtain working rights independently.
We have limited opportunities for internships and work experience due to the client-based and confidential nature of our work.
The process is tailored to different vacancies, but in general these are the steps we follow
1. Application. The recruitment team reviews applications against current requirements. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know how your application is progressing.
2. First interview. The first step is an online video call to find out more about you, tell you more about the company and see if we have enough in common to progress to the next stage.
3. Second Interview. If selected, you will be invited to visit one of our offices for a half to full day, depending on the role. You will meet a range of staff and complete relevant activities to allow us the opportunity to find out more about each other, and to give you a feel for what it is like to work here.
4. Offer. If the second interview goes well, we would aim to make a job offer within 1-2 weeks.
